Lever Pricing and Lever Cost for the Lever ATS in 2026

Hiring for a fully-remote role while you weigh this up? Post it here for $199 a month, salary range shown, employer verified by hand, read by an audience that wants nothing but remote work.

Lever does not publish its prices. Vendr data from 318 transactions puts the median Lever contract at $15,400 a year, with reported deals from $6,714 to $51,864. Lever's pricing page is a quote form, and the company says the price scales with team size and hiring needs. Two things most Lever pricing guides leave out change the decision for a small company: Lever's add-ons are quoted separately, and the company that owns Lever also sells a cheaper ATS, JazzHR, at published prices from $1,000 a year. We run a remote job board whose Enterprise plan sends applicants into Lever, so we have no stake in which ATS you pick.

How much does Lever cost?

Every figure in circulation for Lever is second-hand, so the useful thing is to know what kind of number you are reading.

Read the range before the median. The $6,714 floor is what a small team can expect on a well-negotiated first contract, and the $15,400 median is pulled up by companies with several hundred employees. A 60-person company hiring eight people a year should expect a quote near the bottom of the range.

What is included in Lever pricing?

Every Lever plan includes the applicant tracking system, the candidate relationship manager, reporting and analytics, and the main integrations, according to Lever's own pricing FAQ. The core platform on the page also lists AI-powered screening and matching, AI fraud signals on applications, and unlimited AI interview transcripts and summaries.

That last item is worth noticing when you compare quotes. Ashby sells its AI Notetaker as a paid add-on on every plan, and Greenhouse includes a notetaker on Core. If interview transcripts matter to your hiring managers, Lever's core plan already covers them.

Three add-ons sit outside the core, all quoted rather than priced:

Lever add-onWhat Lever says it doesWho needs it
Candidate InsightsPulls skills, fit, assessment and reference data into the candidate profileTeams that already run assessments or reference checks in another tool
AI Screening by VONQAgent-based screening on your career site that turns high application volume into pre-screened candidatesRoles that draw hundreds of applicants, which includes most remote roles
OnboardingAutomated workflows, tasks and document collection for new hiresCompanies without an HRIS that already handles onboarding

Remote hiring is where the screening add-on starts to pay for itself, because a fully-remote role draws far more applicants than an on-site one. If you would rather screen applicants through AI first-round interviews than through a screening layer inside the ATS, price both before you accept the add-on. Our figures on how many applicants a job posting gets help size the volume.

What Lever costs over three years

At the Vendr median, a three-year Lever contract costs about $47,600 to $49,500 in subscription alone if the price rises 3 to 7% a year, or about $39,300 on a multi-year term at 15% off with the rate held.

ScenarioYear 1Year 2Year 3Three-year total
Median $15,400, 3% yearly increase$15,400$15,862$16,338$47,600
Median $15,400, 7% yearly increase$15,400$16,478$17,631$49,509
Median, three-year term at 15% off, rate held$13,090$13,090$13,090$39,270
Median, three-year term at 30% off, rate held$10,780$10,780$10,780$32,340
JazzHR Pro, published price, for comparison$5,508$5,508$5,508$16,524

The escalators and multi-year discounts are the ranges Vendr reports for Lever. The gap between the first and fourth rows is about $17,000 over three years, which is the value of negotiating the term rather than accepting a one-year contract with an uncapped renewal. The price of that saving is flexibility: you are committed even if hiring slows.

Lever vs JazzHR pricing from the same company

Lever and JazzHR are both owned by Employ Inc., and JazzHR is sold at published prices: Hero $1,000 a year, Plus $3,480 a year and Pro $5,508 a year, billed annually. Employ describes JazzHR as foundational hiring and Lever as scalable hiring, with Jobvite above both. JazzHR says paying yearly saves up to 24% against monthly billing, and our JazzHR pricing page has the monthly prices ($110, $350 and $549) and what each plan leaves out.

PlanPrice, billed annuallyWhat it is for
JazzHR Hero$1,000 a yearGetting started: job postings from three a month and premium job listings
JazzHR Plus$3,480 a yearGrowing teams: up to 200 active jobs, custom workflow stages, job-specific recruiting teams
JazzHR Pro$5,508 a yearSerious hiring: everything in Plus with performance tracking and reporting
LeverQuote; Vendr median $15,400 a yearATS plus candidate CRM, AI screening and analytics for scaling teams

JazzHR's standard prices come with a condition stated on its own page: they do not apply to companies over 250 employees, staffing or recruiting agencies, HR service providers, franchises or multi-location businesses. If you fall inside that limit and your main need is posting jobs and moving applicants through stages, JazzHR Pro costs about a third of the Lever median from the same parent company. Lever earns the difference when you need nurture campaigns to past candidates, sourcing inside the ATS and reporting that hiring managers read on their own.

Lever vs Greenhouse vs Ashby pricing

On buyer-reported medians, Lever is the cheapest of the three quoted systems at $15,400 a year, against $22,896 for Ashby and about $27,000 for Greenhouse. For companies under 100 employees, Ashby is the only one with a published price, from $3,240 a year.

The medians come from different samples, so treat the order as rough. The structural differences are firmer. Ashby publishes five headcount bands for its Foundations plan, from $300 to $900 a month, and our Ashby pricing page lists them along with what Foundations leaves out. Greenhouse renamed its plans to Core, Plus and Pro in early 2026, and our Greenhouse pricing page sorts its buyer numbers by source. If you want a published price for a mid-tier ATS, Workable pricing starts at $299 a month for 1 to 20 employees.

How to get a lower Lever quote

The biggest Lever discounts come from a competing quote and a multi-year term. Vendr reports 15 to 25% off the first quote when buyers run a competitive evaluation, and 25 to 40% when they combine that with a longer term.

  1. Bring a published price. JazzHR Pro at $5,508 a year comes from Lever's own parent company, which makes it a hard number for the rep to dismiss. Workable and Ashby Foundations are published too.
  2. Get the add-ons in the first proposal. Candidate Insights, AI Screening and Onboarding have no list price, so they are easiest to negotiate while the whole deal is open.
  3. Cap the renewal in writing. Vendr reports yearly escalators of 3 to 7%. A cap in the order form is the only protection.
  4. Price implementation separately. Lever says most customers are live within weeks. Ask what the implementation fee covers and whether it can be reduced on a longer term.
  5. Count headcount the way the contract will. Lever prices on team size, so check what happens at renewal if the company grows or shrinks.

How to get remote applicants into Lever

An ATS organizes applicants; it does not create them. A remote listing on our board costs $199 a month for one live role, and on our Enterprise plan every application is created in Lever as an opportunity automatically.

The connection uses Lever's opportunities API under your own API key, acting as the Lever user you choose, and the same connection works for Greenhouse and Ashby. If Lever rejects a delivery or does not answer, it is marked as failed, you get an email, and the applicant stays in your dashboard. Smaller teams on Starter or Growth get the same applicants by email and in the dashboard. See the Enterprise plan for the integration, or compare what other boards charge on our remote job posting sites page.

Quick answers

How much does Lever cost per year?

Lever does not publish prices. Vendr data from 318 transactions, last updated February 2026, puts the median Lever contract at $15,400 a year, with reported deals from $6,714 to $51,864. Vendr notes that companies over 500 employees often reach six figures, and implementation and add-ons are priced on top.

Does Lever publish its pricing?

No. The Lever pricing page is a quote form. Lever says pricing scales with your team size and hiring needs, that every plan includes the ATS, the candidate CRM, reporting and key integrations, and that a precise figure is available on request from its sales team.

Is Lever cheaper than Greenhouse?

On buyer-reported medians, yes. Vendr puts Lever at $15,400 a year across 318 transactions and Greenhouse at about $27,000 across 711 purchases. The samples hold different company mixes, so compare quotes for your own headcount rather than the medians, and include implementation and add-ons in both.

What add-ons does Lever sell?

Lever lists three add-ons on its pricing page: Candidate Insights, which brings assessment and reference data into the profile; AI Screening by VONQ, which pre-screens applicants on your career site; and Onboarding. All three are quoted rather than priced, so ask for them in the first proposal.

Who owns Lever and JazzHR?

Both belong to Employ Inc., which also owns Jobvite. Employ positions JazzHR for foundational hiring, Lever for scalable hiring and Jobvite for sophisticated hiring. JazzHR is the only one of the three with published prices, from $1,000 a year on the Hero plan billed annually.

How long does Lever implementation take?

Lever says most customers are fully implemented within weeks, not months. Implementation and data migration are usually priced separately from the subscription, and Vendr reports that multi-year commitments and competing quotes are the main levers for bringing the total down.
