This policy explains what Latestremote ("we", "us") collects when you use latestremote.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect little.

What we collect

• Account details. When you create an account we store your email address, the role interests you choose, and your confirmation status.
• Usage data. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages and features are used: pages visited, approximate region, device type, and referral source, plus the campaign parameters your visit arrived with.
• Correspondence. If you email us, we keep the thread so we can help you.

What we use it for

• Sending the job alerts and account emails you asked for, including confirmation codes.
• Operating, securing and improving the board, including spam prevention on our forms.
• Understanding aggregate demand for roles and categories so curation gets better.

What we never do

• We never sell your personal data.
• We never share your email with employers or anyone else without your explicit action.
• We never send marketing on behalf of third parties.

Legal bases and retention

We process account data to provide the service you signed up for, and usage data on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the board. We keep account data while your account exists and delete or anonymize it when you ask us to close it.

Your rights

You can request a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing [email protected]. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.
