Pinpoint Pricing and What the Pinpoint ATS Costs per Year, per Hire and over 3 Years
Pinpoint does not publish prices. Its request-pricing page, read on 30 October 2026, offers a short call and says price follows hiring complexity, not company size. Vendr puts the median Pinpoint contract at $27,000 a year, with contracts from $6,180 to $31,994. Buyer guides print lower estimates of about $345 to $600 a month for Growth and from $1,200 a month for Enterprise, which describe the entry end. Both plans are reported to include unlimited users and jobs. At 50 hires a year the median works out to $540 per hire.
Pinpoint is an applicant tracking system built for companies that run several kinds of hiring at once: graduate intake, contract staff, regulated roles and high-volume sites. It bundles a careers site, application forms, automations, scorecards, interview scheduling, offers, background checks and onboarding, and it sells to talent teams from small businesses to enterprises.
What it does not do is show a price. The old pricing page returns an error, and the replacement asks you to book a conversation. The numbers that circulate online disagree by a factor of four, because they measure different things. This page sets the public figures side by side, says what each one is, and works the money out per hire and over a three-year term. Every number was read at its source on 30 October 2026 and every derived figure was computed from those.

How much does Pinpoint cost?
Pinpoint costs a median of $27,000 a year according to Vendr, with contracts reported between $6,180 and $31,994. Pinpoint publishes no price: the request-pricing page on pinpointhq.com, read on 30 October 2026, offers a short call and says the price follows from hiring complexity, not company size. Vendr does not state how many purchases sit behind its median, and its only company-size note describes a buyer with 201 to 1,000 employees.
Monthly, that is $515 at the low end, $2,250 at the median and $2,666 at the top. One negotiating detail from the same Vendr page: a buyer reports getting a renewal uplift waived and a 7% cap on the following renewal by involving an executive sponsor and mentioning a competing quote.
The figure to be careful with is the cheaper one. Several buyer guides print a Pinpoint Growth plan at $345 to $600 a month, which is $4,140 to $7,200 a year. Those are estimates, and one aggregator even shows a median of $1,000 a year from community mentions, a number its own page labels as indicative only. Vendr describes real contracts, and its median is 3.75 times the $7,200 Growth estimate.
Is Pinpoint priced per user?
No. Pinpoint does not charge per recruiter seat, and buyer guides agree that its Growth and Enterprise plans include unlimited jobs and unlimited users. The price is set by hiring complexity and volume, which is how Pinpoint describes it on its own request-pricing page: company size, it says, does not always match how hard the hiring is.
That matters if you have many hiring managers. In a seat-priced system every manager who needs to review candidates adds a license; here a 30-person hiring panel costs the same as a 3-person one. It also means two companies of the same headcount can get very different quotes, one for a single-stream professional hire and one for a business running graduate intake, contract staff and regulated roles at once. Pinpoint markets itself for exactly that second case, multi-stream hiring.
Extras are where quotes grow. Buyer guides list onboarding, migration, employer-branding support and premium integrations as items that may be billed separately, so ask for each by name. One guide also reports that the Enterprise tier adds the onboarding module, advanced analytics and API access; Pinpoint's homepage now mentions an open API and over 100 native integrations, so confirm which plan includes what you need.
Pinpoint Growth and Enterprise pricing compared
Pinpoint sells two plans, Growth and Enterprise, and neither shows a price; the estimates in circulation top out at $14,400 a year while Vendr's median buyer pays $27,000. The table puts every figure in one place so the gap is visible.
| Source | Figure reported | Per year | What it measures |
|---|---|---|---|
| Vendr marketplace, low | $515 a month | $6,180 | Lowest contract in its data |
| Vendr marketplace, median | $2,250 a month | $27,000 | Median contract |
| Vendr marketplace, high | $2,666 a month | $31,994 | Highest contract in its data |
| Buyer guide, Growth | About $345 a month, annual billing | $4,140 | Estimate from a vendor guide |
| Buyer guide, Growth | About $600 a month | $7,200 | Estimate |
| Buyer guide, Enterprise | From $1,200 a month, annual billing | $14,400 | Estimate, floor not ceiling |
The simplest reading is that the guides describe Pinpoint's entry price for a small team and Vendr describes what mid-size companies actually sign. The lowest Vendr contract, $6,180, sits inside the guide range, which fits. The median is 1.9 times the top of the guide range, so if you are a company of a few hundred people, budget from Vendr, not from the guides. Contracts are annual, do not auto-renew according to one buyer guide, and do not allow downgrades mid-term.
Pinpoint cost per hire
At the $27,000 median, Pinpoint costs $540 per hire if you make 50 hires a year and $1,350 if you make 20. Because the plan has unlimited users and jobs, the contract does not grow with hiring, so cost per hire falls as volume rises.
| Point in Vendr's data | A year | A month | Per hire at 20 hires | Per hire at 50 hires | Per hire at 100 hires |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Lowest contract | $6,180 | $515 | $309 | $124 | $62 |
| Median | $27,000 | $2,250 | $1,350 | $540 | $270 |
| Highest contract | $31,994 | $2,666 | $1,600 | $640 | $320 |
Software only, before job ads, agency fees and recruiter time. For a company making 100 hires a year the median is $270 a hire, in the range most teams already pay for a single paid job post. For a company making 20 it is $1,350, which is where a published-price tool starts to look better. Run your own numbers in our cost per hire calculator before the demo call, and divide the quote by next year's planned hires, not last year's.
What Pinpoint costs over three years
At the median, a three-year Pinpoint relationship costs $86,802 if each renewal rises by the 7% cap buyers report, against $81,000 with no increase. The $5,802 gap is the value of getting the cap written into the order form.
| Starting contract | Year 1 | Year 2 at 7% | Year 3 at 7% | Three-year total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| $6,180 (lowest) | $6,180 | $6,613 | $7,075 | $19,868 |
| $27,000 (median) | $27,000 | $28,890 | $30,912 | $86,802 |
| $31,994 (highest) | $31,994 | $34,234 | $36,630 | $102,858 |
Add onboarding or migration if the quote bills it separately. Negotiation levers named by buyers are a competing quote, a cap on renewal increases, and asking for the first two or three months at no charge rather than a headline discount, since the monthly price then stays comparable across vendors.
Is Pinpoint worth it?
Pinpoint is worth it for a company that runs several kinds of hiring at once, wants a branded careers site and structured scorecards, and values unlimited users over a low sticker price. It is a weaker buy for a company that posts a handful of roles a year, because the median contract is more than ten times the price of the cheapest published systems.
If your hiring is simpler, compare it against published prices first: JazzHR pricing starts at $1,000 a year, Breezy HR pricing includes unlimited users on every plan, and Ashby pricing is published for companies up to 100 employees. For the quote-only end, see Greenhouse pricing, where Vendr's median is $26,553 a year, almost the same as Pinpoint's. Our Pinpoint alternatives comparison lays the options side by side.
How to get inbound remote applicants alongside Pinpoint
An ATS organizes applicants, it does not create them, so pair Pinpoint with a listing where remote candidates already search. Pinpoint's careers site reaches people who already know your name. A remote role also needs readers who are looking for fully remote work this week.
A listing on our board costs $199 a month for one live remote role, or $99 a month billed yearly, bought on the site with no sales call. At $2,388 a year that is about 8.8% of the Vendr median. Applications come to you directly; the Enterprise plan pushes applicants automatically into Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby, and for Pinpoint the handoff is manual, so forward the applicants or use the open API.
